Jess's approach to naturopathy
- LISTEN – Jess likes to listen first to know you and your story. She feels that
taking a good case history and understanding each individual and
their health concerns is very important to assess what is happening for them and then to provide the guidance that helps each person. - TEST only if needed (sometimes this is required but not always)- there are many functional assessment tools available through reputable Australian laboratories that can add valuable information to
assess what is happening. Blood tests and/or stool samples can reveal significant useful resources to find out the underlying reason for symptoms. Such as a suspected food intolerance can be
confirmed in a blood test. - PRESCRIBE- once all your information is collected and collated alongside any tests that may be relevant, a Personalised program approach is formulated. This may include a special liquid herbal
formula blend and some nutritional supplements to take. The program is tailor made to your needs and will be clear and easy to follow with dosages and a daily schedule that works for your lifestyle. Achievable real life easy to implement programs are made with you in mind.
A question Jess often hears
“I have tried everything for my symptoms and belly aches/bloating and nothing seems to help. I have been told there is nothing wrong but I don’t feel quite right. What can I do ?”
Jess believes symptoms are there for a reason and we can explore the underlying
cause with a good case taking consultation and if needed some special tests can be ordered to identify what is going on. These tests are different to regular tests and take a deeper look into the functional
state of your internal organs and provide information such as the microbiome and functional biochemistry state and provides insight on the challenges to healing and where to focus treatment.
