The gelatin in these ice blocks will assist in gut healing while the pineapple is full of bromelain which is an enzyme that assists with digestion. Perfect for summer and to help the tummy after dinner. You will need ice-block molds to make these.
INGREDIENTS
• 2 tablespoons of grass fed gelatin powder
• 4 tablespoon hot water (not boiling)
• 500ml of fruit puree or juice of your choice (mango or pineapple work great, or a mix of the two!)
• A squeeze of fresh lemon
METHOD
Place the gelatin in a mixing bowl with a spout. Add the hot water and stir until the gelatin has dissolved. Add the fruit juice and stir.
Pour some of the liquid into each of your molds and pop the lid on top with the sticks centered in liquid. Freeze for 4-5 hours. For some extra gut gold, add 2 tablespoon of broth to the liquid. The kids won’t even know!
