Find your practitioner
Our Naturopaths and Homeopaths do not all work on the same things. One focuses on thyroid, metabolism and the shift into perimenopause. Another works in PCOS and fertility. Another spends most of her time in children's health.
This quiz asks eight to ten questions about what you are dealing with, how you would prefer to be seen and where you are up to. It then matches you with the practitioner whose clinical focus fits your answers. Your match appears on screen as soon as you finish.
A starting point, not a diagnosis. Every match is confirmed by a real practitioner.
What to know before you start
How does the practitioner match quiz work?
The quiz asks eight to ten questions about your main health concern, whether you would prefer to be seen in person or online, whether you have had relevant testing done and how soon you want to start. It then matches you with the practitioner at Nourishing Apothecary whose clinical focus fits your answers. The match appears on screen straight away, with a link to that practitioner's full profile and a link to book.
How long does the quiz take?
There are eight to ten questions, so it is a short form rather than a full intake. The exact number depends on your answers. The fertility path asks one or two extra questions, and the children's health path swaps in questions about your child rather than you.
Do I need to give my email address?
Yes. The quiz asks for your first name and email part way through, before it shows your match, so we can send your result and your practitioner's details through to you. Your match also appears on screen immediately, so you do not need to wait for an email to see it.
Is the quiz a diagnosis?
No. The quiz is a matching tool, not a clinical assessment. It does not diagnose anything, and it does not replace advice from your GP or specialist. Your practitioner completes a full clinical assessment during your consultation, and works alongside any doctor already involved in your care.
Which health concerns does the quiz cover?
The quiz covers six areas:
- Fertility and conception, including IVF preparation and recurrent loss
- Hormones and cycle health, including PCOS, endometriosis, thyroid conditions, perimenopause and menopause
- Gut and digestive health, including bloating, IBS and suspected food intolerances
- Metabolism and weight, including insulin resistance and support alongside GLP-1 medication
- Children's health, including focus and sensory regulation, eczema and gut health
- Men's hormonal health, including energy, libido, mood and thyroid
If your concern does not fit neatly into one of those, choose the "not sure, a bit of everything" option. The quiz then shows a checklist of common symptoms and works out which area fits best from what you tick.
Can I have my consultation online, or do I need to come to the clinic?
Both are available. We run online consultations via Zoom across Australia, and in-person appointments at our Liverpool clinic in Sydney. The quiz asks which you would prefer early on, because it changes who you are matched with. Some of our practitioners see clients in the clinic, others work online.
Can I use the quiz for my child or my partner?
Yes. The first question asks whether you are looking for support for yourself, your partner or your child, and the rest of the quiz adapts to that. The children's path asks about your child's age and main concern instead of yours. The partner path asks an extra fertility question, because egg quality and sperm quality point to different information.
What happens after I get my match?
Your result shows the practitioner you have been matched with, their clinical focus, a link to their full profile and a link to book a discovery call. Booking goes through our online diary, where you choose a time that suits you.
What if I am not sure what my main concern is?
Choose "not sure, a bit of everything" on the main concern question. The quiz then shows a checklist of common symptoms across fertility, hormones, gut health and metabolism, and you tick everything that sounds familiar. It uses that to work out which area fits best before matching you with a practitioner.
Still not sure where to start? Book a discovery call and we will point you in the right direction.
What working with our naturopaths supports
We do not promise outcomes. What we promise is a plan built for you, not a guess. When the work is done properly, three things tend to shift:
- Your supplement spend stops being a guess. Every product on the list has a job, not just a vibe from Instagram.
- More of your day starts working. Steadier energy, better sleep, more predictable cycles, conversations with your GP backed by actual data. Every body responds differently and timelines vary.
- You stop feeling like the problem. Most people who walk in have been told they are stressed, hormonal, or imagining it. Your body is responding logically to the inputs it is getting. We just need to change the inputs.
Naturopathy and Homeopathy, built for the long term
Most clinics offer one modality or the other. We use both, with a treatment plan structured to actually hold over time:
- Naturopathy gives us the herbal medicine, nutrition, and lifestyle structure your body needs to rebuild.
- Homeopathy offers a different lens - looking at constitutional patterns, held stress, and how your symptoms present in you rather than in textbook form.
- Built-in follow-through so the work holds. Initial consultation, six-week follow up to check what is responding, ten-week check-in to refine. We are not trying to keep you in the clinic forever. We are trying to get you to the point where you do not need us anymore.
